Honored at a special luncheon coordinated by the
Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, the
following groups and individuals are the 2012 winners at this year’s
Moorpark Community Awards Luncheon at the Moorpark Country Club:

Man of the Year: Steve Carlson
Woman of the Year: Linda Plaks
Chamber Member of the Year: Shawn McCarthy
Entrepreneur of the Year: Richard Buchalter – California Kettle Corn
Educator of the Year: Diane Davenport
Youth of the Year: Olivia Sichmeller
Senior of the Year: Fred Greco
Public Servant of the Year: Jeff Gorell
Volunteer of the Year: Carol Sanders
Non-Profit / Service Org. of the Year: Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark

The Moorpark Community Awards has been a
tradition in our community since 2004. Nominations were accepted
from all sources in Moorpark, whether they are Chamber members or not.
The choices are made by a panel of Chamber board members and staff.
